Family has always been very important to me as a source of love and support.
My parents, Harvey and Alice Reese were true examples of this as they made many sacrifices for their children. They taught us to never back down from our beliefs. My father retired from Bi- State Development before succumbing to cancer in 1993. My mother is a retired school teacher of 37 years.
The work ethic of both my parents was passed down to their three children. My oldest brother, Vincent Reese is an attorney for a prominent law firm here in St. Louis. His hard work and dedication has led him to become a partner in the firm. I have always viewed my brother as a great mentor and I am very grateful for the support he has given me throughout the years. My younger sister, Yvette Reese unfortunately passed away early in her life at the age of seven. She was such a sweet and charismatic girl that always would light up a room with her infectious smile. Yvette, you are truly missed.
I am blessed to be married to Tujuania Reese, who is my best friend and college sweetheart. My wife teaches me something new every day as we go through life’s journey and conquer the trials and tribulations that come our way. Her strength is an EVERLASTING PEARL to me. She is an amazing wife and mother to our two children. My daughter is a Junior at Murray State University, majoring in broadcast journalism, and my son is a sophomore at Christian Brothers College Highschool.
We continue to instill in both of our children the importance of serving your community and being a leader in today’s society.
